We have reached the end of the year and I just want to wish all of you a happy new year and all best for the coming months! Now you have less time to receive your letter of acceptance for Lund University and to let your adventure begin! This semester has been hectic between the level of the courses and the lab work on the second study period but it’s all worth it! Vacations taste much better that way.
As for me, since I come from Spain I am spending my holidays at home in the region of Cádiz in south Spain. This has been essential as it is giving me time with my family and friends I haven’t seen for a while. Switching off is sometimes the solution to get your projects to work in the best way as possible, and I really recommend you to do so during your studies in Lund.
Christmas is Sweden is cozy, sometimes snowy (which I love, but doesn’t happen that often in Lund) and full of delicious bakery and sweets. It is a recommendable experience to be there during that time of the year. But in my opinion, taking a trip back home during this time of year has been the most relaxing and satisfactory experience ever. This way I come back as energetic as possible and looking forward to the new semester.
I want to finish this post with a picture of the last sunset of the year in my hometown, which I contemplated in awe and therefore I wanted to share it with you. Despite the clouds, the combination of colours was simply mesmerizing.
