My experience in Lund…

Hello, my name is Rajeshwari Yogi and I am from India. I have completed first year of the course Wireless Communications at LTH. Since this is my first post here, I thought of taking this opportunity to introduce myself and share some of my thoughts regarding the past year in Lund.

Actually speaking I cannot believe it is already a year…it feels like it was yesterday that I was at Copenhagen airport with all my luggage then at AF building waiting in queue to receive the welcome package, sim card etc… a bit nervous and a lot excited 🙂  But yes, it is already a year now and it has been great so far.

I find myself blessed to be able to experience staying at Lund. It is completely opposite to hot, busy and big city of Mumbai (India) where I come from except one thing, warm and friendly people. I find this city is beautiful and peaceful. It is truly an international city. You can find students from all over the world and get to know their stories, culture and share some of your own. Over the past year I have met a lot of lovely students and made some great friends. The city is perfect combination of both the historical touch with cobble stoned streets and technology with a number of blooming startups as well as big companies. I also appreciate that Lund is extremely environment friendly. Large portion of people use bike or public transport. Another wonderful fact is that you can go from one end of the city to other in maximum 20 mins on bike. Isn’t it great! 🙂
