Dear diary,

Hello, this is my first time writing here, so I’ll start with a short formal introduction to you, but I think you will get to know me even better over time. My name is Anton and I’ve been living in Helsingborg, Sweden, for almost 1 year now, as a native Dutch-guy. What I was thinking going here? Well, studies, off course! I study Energy-efficient and environmental building design (EEBD), which is always a pleasure to say and explain when people ask for it. Furthermore, I’m 26 years old and have been a student for quite some time (e.g. 8 years). And for now, what you need to know is that I like hobbies, good food and nice people to hang around with. I dislike things I don’t like, poorly made food and bad people, I therefore try to avoid those.

Okay, so after this introduction I think I can let you meet my expectations for this blogging. I’d like to involve you, the reader, as much as possible, and inform you about (my) daily life here in Helsingborg. Request, and ask anything, or question my integrity in the comments. I’ll respond there or with a new blog.

This being said, I’ve got a perfect idea for this last section, being maybe the first real thing I blog about. As the summer holiday started already this week,  I found a good way to end the last semester; by attending some of the second-years’ thesis presentations, both for inspiration and to see what they did. It’s very informative, especially when you still have no clue how or about what you want to do your thesis in the end. An important presentation I attended, was from Stephanie, who was one of the former bloggers for the departement of EEBD. And I think she did a great job!

To conclude this, maybe rather long, writing. I hope you have liked reading my first-try blog and that you’re going to enjoy my future writings (and maybe even learn a thing or two from it as well). OK. Bye!

-Anton-

Welcome to the blog Anton!! Good idea to visit the degree project presentations. I will tell other students to do the same.

  2. Do you have any reason to do so, my dearest Henk?

  3. I question your integrity.
